I don't think so Ana. I think it is one of those thing you choose (like political party or religion or joining a gym ). It's not one coven either but all across the UK people will join

I was accused of racism on this forum a few of years ago. What upset me the most about it was that I THOUGHT people knew me well enough to not misinterpret what I'd said, and also the fact that others joined in with the accusation. I was incredibly upset by it .

Can I join the coven/cult too I will put a purple streak in my hair as I did as a teenager if that helps with my application? I live near The Hell Fire Caves where we could have an occasional seminar if all of you northern witches are happy to zoom down the M1 to the south. Any chance Anya you can pop to your local theatre and hire The Three Witches from Macbeth to join our coven, they would of course be Mainlining a bit like at Glastonbury.

Herbal potions, anyone? I make quite a few, but nothing with chamomile as I would fall asleep and off my broomstick.

I don't know much about potions but I make candles so I can provide those.

I loved the "souls" in the Phillip Pullman "His Dark Materials" books. They changed from animal to bird, etc., and back to another animal until you were old enough to have a formed personality and then it settled to the form that most suited you. Do you think, as modern witches, our "familiars" could suit us - not just cats?

I think mine would turn out to be a King Charles Spaniel. I wish I could say something more impressive but no, I have a feeling that's where it would settle.

Probably a lot of herbs. We could make a good stew while we are working it out.

I think I'll be a whippet. Not because they're slim, elegant and graceful, but because we share an ability to lounge around for 99% of the time [make that 100% of the time if there's a] no food around and b]it's raining.
