Just returned from seeing my sons ships company marching through Morpeth at the weekend. So many people turned out to welcome them and it was so lovely to see the youngsters brought along waving their flags. Now I do realise that to them it's probably just an afternoon off lessons, so they would be enthusiastic anyway, but nevertheless they all cheered and had lovely smiling faces. It was very much appreciated by all the servicemen and women and Morpeth did them proud. Having sons serving in the Military I do have a lot of anxious times when they go to various coutries, it was nice to have a break from it and just lovely to see people paying tribute to them, oh and the weather was great to....
