Ann you would be very welcome. Maybe not this year but next, when having had our own house rebuilt, we hope to have a two bedroom cottage available to any GN who needs it. (minimal cost)

PS being cold blooded, we have only just changed from a 6/7 tog duvet to just a blanket at night. I like a hottie at my daughters in UK.

I am so envious dustyangel I am another who doesn't like it hot but it is cold here in Stockport, not just chilly. We have a fan heater on having resisted the temptation to put CH on and it is Midsummer tomorrow!!

I posted before I wished you all all a good weekend. sunshine

Good morning all, bright and sunny again here. It got a bit warm yesterday(34°c) and is forecast the same all week. It's too hot for me really but as long as it's stays fine for GS and his girlfriend who are coming next Saturday I don't mind.
They made the effort to visit us in January and were unlucky with the weather and I think he wants to show her the other side of the Algarve. Still it won't make any difference Grandma worrying, weather is one thing we can do nothing about.

Good morning all. Bit of a lie in today!
Grey but bright and dry here in Colchester.
We were supposed to be going to be going to the Foo Fighters concert today but it was cancelled. DH has taken the opportunity to go fishing.
I am now going into town with DS for lunch and to get him a haircut then home to wait for a Sainsburys delivery like daffydil
Such a rock and roll lifewink

Good morning everyone.
It's wet and cool in my corner of Northumberland, not what I really want this time in June. Quiet day ahead for me if the weather doesn't improve.

Good morning to you all, dull here and 'showers' forecast, but we could really do with some 'rain' overnight of course! I shall be gardening if the showers are not too heavy, after shopping that is. Enjoy your days

Kitty hope it doesn't rain. I was thinking of popping along to see the gardens. x

Good morning!

It's dull here in North Leicestershire and rain is forecast. That's usually for our village 'Open Gardens' weekend. We don't open our but have decided we may do next year so I'd better get on with some weeding today!

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

Morning all.
Warm, bright and still here in mid Essex. Hope it lasts. Delivery from Sainsbury's later on then all the tedious business of stowing everything away. And that is about all I have planned for the day. Something will turn up I expect. hmm

Morning All

Hot and sunny and still in North Norfolk. I fear it'll change later though as the rain heads across! Lovely to have breakfast in the sunshine though so am making the most of it!

Hair cut later, but nothing else planned. Perhaps a bit of light weeding.

Happy Saturday Everone. sunshine
