Well, I always buy bananas but they are not impulse buys, I just like them. so, impulse buys would be a Danish pastry or a big tub of olives or a new shampoo(that I don't need.)

Just seen about bananas being the top thing we buy at supermarkets on impulse. I think this might be right in my case, but only because the layout of my local tescos means they're the first thing I see as I walk in. Lucky it's not the biscuit aisle actually - that would be dangerous.
