Good Morning all from Cyprus. It is a bank holiday here, sunny and a cool 29 degrees, I have the towels on the line, and sheets ready to go in to the wash. About to leave to take my visitor to the airport for her trip back to Heathrow.

Bright and sunny in Northumberland but the clouds are building, anything to be done outside will need doing sooner rather than later. It is windy here too, and cold. I have ironing to do but it is my OH's day off and he often wants to go somewhere. I'll see what he says before In start.

Lovely start to the day here in mid Essex too. All the crazy paving and block paving was power washed a couple of days ago and the garden looks so much brighter. However the downstairs windows are a mess. Have a good day all.

Back from our hectic week with the family at Sandy Balls. It went really well, but I remember now why we never should go away at half term - especially when it's a bank holiday! It took just under five hours to drive to Hampshire from Norfolk the week before half term (towing caravan) and seven and a half to get home!

Beautiful and sunny here this morning - but breezy. Rain forecast later so out in the garden this morning catching up with the weeding.
