soop I'm looking to you at the moment as I know you've been through this. My ds and dil's marriage is over and I'm very sad for my darling little gd. My ds is heartbroken.
I know life goes on, but at the moment I'm struggling to see any light at the end of this tunnel.

Lona I was in your position when DD1's marriage came to an end. Her world came to an abrupt end, all her dreams for the future gone, especially a loving family upbringing for her two DDs.

All I could do was be there for her whenever she needed me, listened to her at any time of the day and support her in any way possible.

lona you are having every parent's nightmare. So very sad and so often Mum has to pick up the pieces.

Bella thankfully your daughter has arrived home, sans luggage. It is very difficult because your DH is trying to help and it is not working because he is too weak.

janer strengthening exercises are helpful but take time to get the muscles working and time is something that Bella's DH does not have.

Bella my thoughts are with you- I agree, a restful night and all would be over peacefully for him.

Charleygirl I hope your cellulitis responds to antibiotics quickly; I have had it two or three times now in my arm and now I recognise the signs I know that antibiotics are needed straight away; the GP prescribes some for me to keep in the house just in case. Usually it takes a couple of weeks of them to get rid of it completely.

Bellasnana there is nothing I can say except wish you peace and love, I am so glad that your daughter has arrived.

Lona I really feel for you as we have also just gone through similar. DD2 left her lovely husband and has brought little DGD to live here in Malta. It is her second divorce. DD1 is also divorced as her OH left her for a work colleague. Each time it has felt like the world has come to an end, but things usually work out for the best.

I certainly send my hopes and wishes for your DS to come through this ordeal and find new happiness.

Bellasnana, my heart goes out to you, I was in the same position as you 2 years ago.
once All the family had come to see my husband (he was virtually unconscous all the time, I whispered to him that he could go now, knowing everyone was together and that we would be ok. His last words were I love you, within 6 hours his breathing changed and he slipped peacefully away.
Ellenor nurses told me that quite often a dying person will 'hang on' till family have been, they may make the decision to pass quickly, (rather than coming home to die, as my husband did.
just keep telling him you love him, and give him 'permission' to die.
