My DD had her 34 week scan yesterday. She went in with 6 weeks to go and came out with a date booked for induction in 4.5 weeks time . Now I'm in a panic about all the things that I'd lazily been taking my time over in recent months. I am halfway through the newborn beanie hat the hospital ask for. And I have two tiny cardigans to make - one pink, one blue, to cover both eventualities 
. The patchwork cot quilt isn't finished. And I'm making a little album from pretty craft paper and card to present to her just after the birth - this will be filled with 'fairy godmother wishes' collected at her baby shower next week.
Oh and the house will have to be cleaned from top to bottom, bedding washed for her and the baby; all essential baby equipment ferried from her house to ours - and homes found for all these things in our (rather full!) house - as she will be staying with us for the first couple of weeks.
And my DH and I have to go round to her house and make up the wardrobe and chest of drawers for the baby's room, and put up a couple of shelves in her kitchen.
Help!!!
