Just looked at the Met forecast, Sunny 14deg from 11.00 onwards. They are never spot on so I am convincing myself it will be at least 18.

.... Why does everything happen at once? On Friday I had the Gas Board out to service the boiler and then back again on Monday to deal with a leak from the tank overflow caused by underfloor heating overheating.. On Tuesday I waited in all day for a carrier to pick up the vacuum cleaner, which packed up last week, to be mended. They said they called (they didn't as I and my decorator were in all day). They came today - I was out. Yesterday my laptop died so my computer guru came today and read the death rites and we I had to order a new one. This afternoon the electrics in my kitchen flipped the trip switch for the umpteenth time, so I will have to get an electrician in. The decorator is in to sort out a leak mark on the ceiling caused by the outflow from the bath becoming detached from the out pipe; he rubbed down the paintwork leaving a film of paint dust on everything within 50 feet having omitted to use the lovely new dust sheets with which he arrived ....... Next?
