Which is why you have to ask her to only buy one pack a week. How many does she eat? Would she stick to that for your sake? If you begged her nicely? DBH is out shopping and it's taken him months to realise that when I ask him not to buy me a slice of cake from the delicatessen, I really mean it. It only registered with him when he saw me cutting it into 4 and freezing it. It's taken me years to stop thinking of sugar as a treat, but as something that I am killing myself with.

But I am overweight and having all sorts of dietary problems, because I used to be so active I could eat anything I liked and stay slim, arthritis stopped all that and all of a sudden even the supposed allowance of 2000 calories a day is 500 too many, I put on weight if I eat that much. So every calorie I eat has to contain as much nutrition as possible, and in a biscuit, there is none. You'd be better off with a flapjack with all sorts of fruits and seeds and nuts in it, jings had a nice recipe.
