Welcome back! Bit early for wine so coffee is on and there's a big plate of warm croissants, butter and apricot jam (homemade) for everyone.

Bogoff Fri 08-May-15 04:24:26

Of course I understood, and appreciated, your concern. wine

POGS Fri 08-May-15 03:59:36

Bogoff

Fair enough in that case you will hopefully accept I had soops interest at heart as my primary concern, as it appears you did too. wine

Bogoff Fri 08-May-15 03:53:05

Peace & love nus now prevail again. flowers xxx

and, why the hell am I awake at 4pm, I hate politics confused

Bogoff Fri 08-May-15 03:45:59

So everyone in the kitchen is aware, Soop (and GN HQ) knew who I was from day one, I would not have abused her hospitality. She welcomed me back (smile), but did want me to come clean asap, which I did. Ok I do admit, I did rather enjoy dropping hints to see if anyone rumbled me, I suspect several did, but kept quiet. (sorry Pompa's old habits die hard)

xxx

Ana

Fair enough, I respect your view.

I wasn't saying that but I will stand corrected if that is how my post reads as I don't have a desire to upset either soop or Bogoff.

Ana Fri 08-May-15 00:35:15

I don't post on here very often, but I disagree with you POGS.
IMO it isn't Bogoff who has disturbed the peace of this haven.

POGS Fri 08-May-15 00:18:38

Bogoff

I think there were some signs but please this is dear soop's haven for us all .

I think you will be the first to acknowledge that dear soop has the upper hand on this thread and I sincerely welcome you back but not at the expense of this thread loosing it's relevance as a gentle, kindly thread that not only yourself can find solice but other GN's too.

I say this in the spirit of friendship and also believing you fully understand and accept dear soop is worthy of our respect, I hope you accept my comment as in no way chastising but given some will rail in to argument please don't go there and be open on a thread of your own volition. I hope I have not upset anyone confused

grannytwice put a sock in it, we all know your opinion now. You have made your point. Many, many, many, many times.

Apologies, soop.

I guessed this morning. grin

Just off to shave my tummy. grin

Bogoff, I`m so, so pleased to learn of your true identity, welcome back into the fold!

Soutra Thu 07-May-15 21:38:15

Much better for things to be out in the open, I hope we are honest with each other in the Kitchen.

Charleygirl Thu 07-May-15 21:36:31

Bogoff I did think that for a new poster that the new Bogoff had a lot to say for herself! I did not think that Bogoff was a man, just an assertive woman!!!

We did miss Pompa as you found out! It was worth your while to stay lurking- we did manage to entice you back again. Please ignore posts like the above. Welcome home.

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 21:26:10

You mean you're not going to be so unpleasantly sexist in the future Pompa?

Bogoff Thu 07-May-15 21:23:45

Kitcheners - I have a confession blush I have been rumbled. Pompa only left for a short while, after a personality transplant he re-emerged as Bogoff smile.

I was truly overwhelmed by all the posts and PM's asking me to return, I felt a real idiot for storming off. I decided (with GN HQ's permission) to change my identity for a while to try to stop the unpleasantness that had developed. I hope you understand.

Bogoff (ex Pompa)

janerowena - I've just caught up with the kitchen thread and was so pleased to read about your duck. One of the walks I do with my dogs involves walking around a reservoir with lots of ducks living in the various quiet patches. Mr and Mrs Duck were marching their ducklings across the path this morning. Luckily I called the doodle dogs just before they noticed the ducks. I'm ashamed to confess that duck chasing is one of the doodle dogs favourite things and if not popped on their leads in time, they follow the ducks into the water and swim out after them. Couldn't have that with ducklings could we.
I've got various humous dips, crisps and crudités (to balance out the crisps) here, is it ok to have a glass of wine at 9pm on election eve or shall I put the kettle on?

Soutra Thu 07-May-15 20:49:59

Not sexist, surely? grin Weird though. Not the sort of image one would want to hold in one's headhmm

Bogoff Thu 07-May-15 19:40:26

Sorry if that was sexist, but a man with a hairy belly in a bikini would have just been weird grin

Bogoff Thu 07-May-15 18:09:11

Janer, you have put an image of a woman in a bikini with a hairy belly into my mind !!! keep getting flash backs.
