It's mine today . And after the dreadful weather yesterday, the sun is shining and the sky is blue! I've had my first card ever from my little GD . My DD, GD and I are off out to a breakfast meeting this morning - a monthly thing with a group of local photographer friends, and a chance for DD to show off the baby!

Lovely time of year for a birthday. School holidays as a child and probably parties in the garden. Now granny AshTree can share it with a new little granddaughter. Lots of happy summers to look forward to.

Thank you all for your lovely wishes! Indigo was definitely the guest of honour at the breakfast this morning. The group's organiser stood up and made an announcement to the effect that she was welcoming the group's newest and youngest member, and gave her a lovely card and present bought with the group funds! My DD was really touched by the kindness.

No, but I am gate crashing to say that it is our -*45th wedding anniversary*
Much water has flowed unde the bridge, but our 3 amazing DDs are still my proudest achievement.
