Candles look about the right number - perhaps you could tell OH my real age as he sent me a card with my age a year older than I really am!! Grounds for divorce I think.

My birthday today! Normally we're in England now celebrating with all the family but we are goin next week for the (hopeful) arrival of new GS and the christening of the last arrival!! Extra celebrations all round!!

I have received a sweet necklace from my OH - it is a silver chain with a tiny circular sliver of beechwood as a pendant with a pearl in the middle and little crystals round it.
It came as a bit of a surprise, as he asked me what I wanted a few weeks ago and I said a book of poems by Phillip Larkin. He leapt top his laptop, heaving a sigh of relief that he did not have to think of a present (he always gets in a fret about this!). Earlier today I said how nice the necklace was, and said I thought he was getting a book of Larkin (it wasn't a hint - just in conversation) - a few minutes later he appeared with it, having forgotten that he had bought it and then forgot where he had hidden it!! It's a great book!
