Bit worried about DD...

She is 37 weeks pregnant and is huge - she is not all that tall and has put on 3 stone. The baby is said on scans to be a normal size. DD is not puffy with fluid, nor is she fat - so we can only conclude that she has a vast quantity of amniotic fluid in there. But she also has a low placenta.

I would be very happy if this babe popped out a bit early. The sooner she pods the better!

It is slightly worrying as the maternity services out here are pretty hopeless, and are regularly rated poorly.

If only I could acquire GC without all this worry! I should have had boys.

My DD3 had that with her Abdominals too , They repaired after no 2GD but now she still has a problem and GD3 is nearly 3 . She has been seeing a Physiotherapist and it is improving

I'm sending positive thoughts your way mishap. It's a worrisome time, I know. Take care of yourself, too, so you can enjoy your precious little one.

DD here today and looking so very tired - we did our best to look after 2 year old as much as we could to give her a chance to rest. She is 12 stone! - that is huge for her as she is a little dot. But everything else is fine: blood pressure, urine, baby is the right way up and the right way round. Lots of Braxton Hicks, so maybe it will be soon - I do hope so; she is so very uncomfortable.

I have made the new babe a cot quilt and just have to embroider his name and date of birth on it.

All getting quite excited here now and hoping for an easy time for her.

Let's hope so, Mishap! Try not to worry. I put on 3 stone plus with DD1 and was embarrassingly big. Comments about triplets were being made. My waters broke with a pop on the delivery table and nearly flooded the room - DD1 was a dainty dot and still is. Looking forward to hearing good news soon. flowers
