Why is there snow on my car this morning then?!?

I think you're right Ana-remember my daughter sitting up in her pram that year as I walked for miles in the baking sun!! It was also the summer when I choked myself very badly trying to have a sneaky square of chocolate without her seeing me! I ended up doubled over the pram handle whooping for breath.

I remember 1976 as well, we sweltered all through that long hot summer, went on holiday in September, and the weather broke in the middle of our week away.

Please bring back winter !. I'm knackered, all this good weather has me out in the garden all day working.

As far away from the SW as you can get. Bright and dry atm, rain forecast tonight, but I won't hold my breath.

It's been warm enough to have our tea/bums outside this afternoon and my head is sun burnt (note - wear a hat from now on)

Elegran Thu 02-Apr-15 18:56:45

Were your bums naked in the sunshine? 9The n and m are very close together on the keyboard)

pompa Thu 02-Apr-15 18:58:29

Tea and bums make for a great afternoon grin

loopylou Thu 02-Apr-15 19:10:02

What a lovely warm day in the Chilterns today. And the bonus of light evenings.

My spirits soar as this time of year and go into decline in November.

It's not supposed to be summer time yet. That's in June, July and August.
However, I went for a walk yesterday and came back with a headache, which I only do if there's too much sun. Same today. Only spring flowers out, though.
