Todays' offering from our local weekly paper, states that a statue of Rod Hull's emu is to be erected on the train station forecourt. There is even a mock up photo of what it will look like.

Rod is a local boy, so some may fall for it.

I was convinced that this was an April fool spoof. Amazingly it isn't.

Our local paper claims that a 2000 year old well preserved pasty has been found exactly on the border between Devon and Cornwall. They've even got a picture of it

Today our hens were stolen again!! No April fool, we're the ones being made fools of!!!

This morning, just before I left Oz, the 8 year old said 'Gally, you've let one off'. I indignantly replied that I certainly had not - ' oh yes you did', waving his hand in front of his nose, 'well it most definitely wasn't me'. 'Ha ha, April fool'. Cheeky wee so and so.

Aaah. That's the best kind of April Fool Marmight.
