Good morning all, a little chilly, slight breeze but lovely sunlit morning. Off to my knit and natter this morning, just for a couple of hours, we shall again be putting the world to rights and remembering all sorts of things. A nice crowd and all very industrious. Enjoy your days.

A very bright morning here in Stockport with an overnight frost still in evidence.
Haircut this morning and a bit of shopping, can hardly contain my excitement.
I just can't imagine having to fly to a medical appointment,when my legs are good (not always these days) I can walk to our local hospital.

Set to be a glorious day - at last - so gardening today. Transplant some seeds in the greenhouse, sort out some plants to take to my son tomorrow - he has the day off and start cutting back the winter clematis and climbing rose. Fight with the dog over him paddling in the pond trying to catch a frog. They play dead so I pick them up and plop them back into the pond.

We have tadpoles!

I'm not going to exercise class today, as I'm resting my shoulder, not to mention my back and legs!
My dd came to visit yesterday and took over the running round with dgd.
By 4pm she was shattered too! Not just me then

I am packed and ready to go. My first train is at 09.21. I will probably arrive at my destination by about 13.30 after another two trains and a ferry. Very excited GC on the phone yesterday. Meeting them out of school this afternoon all being well.

It's set fair here in Manchester. Off to the hairdressers this morning, then a bit of gardening if the weather holds. Weigh in at Slimming World just before teatime and then book group in the pub this evening. Had a poor night's sleep as I often do after choir, with all that wonderful music still spinning through my brain.

I think I'm surfacing from the jet lag of our homeward journey from California - although I did just go to put the last load of washing into the tumbler instead of the washing machine. I realised - so I must be ok?

Not going to look at the rest of GN - I'm starting the ironing. Right now!

I've just been talking to a friend who lives there now! On FB. There have been floods, he says.

Meanwhile in East Angular, we have beautiful blue skies after a bitter night which killed off my magnolia blossoms.
