How much is too much exercise? I have just heard that my 27 year old nephew is in hospital having an emergency op for a strangulated hernia, caused by exercising!
I think I'll just sit here safely and laugh at all my Zumba-ing friends!

I usually go to a Fit steps class on Thursday morning but I am working today 
This is the first class I've missed since it started last October and I love it!
I am rejoicing in my new found, pain free mobility, but am now realising that I must take it slowly. Walking on the beach isn't an option yet! So my exercise is more recuperation, but I AM enjoying it.

I excercise twice a week, it's called "Dance your Body awake" I've been going for about 5 years and it has not resulted in any weight loss but it is great fun. We are all over 60 years, we try our best and we all thoroughly enjoy ourselves and have a laugh. That's what it's all about to me!!

I had an hours walk early this morning before breakfast - it was lovely but it made me really, really hungry.
It's about keeping your metabolism going. Apparently. So I'm told by someone who knows everything. 
Good luck with the exercise- I did a big power walk on Saturday and was surprised to see it had only used 150 calories but its all about the general fitness - isn't it?? Good news though 4 hours of golf does 1000 calories and I play that twice week and another few holes in between heaven knows what I will do when I cant golf anymore.
It makes you feel better though. (Not the cake eating - the exercise! )
I did half hour on exercise bike whilst watching Corrie last night. Feel smug better for it this morning. (slept well too)
