Good Morning Monday

Good morning all, bright and sunny today though not quite as warm as it has been. Still lovely in the sun and so many of the sring flowers are out early. Our forecast is for rain for the next four days but as the weather here can change as quickly as the wind changes we'll have to wait and see.

Well for once we in the North West seem to be doing best with the weather. It is beautiful here, bright and sunny. But the sky is rather hazy so we will make the most of it while it lasts. I'm not just up but had several jobs which had to be done before I dare switch the computer on.

So disappointing daffydil, hope you get it sorted. Two years ago I had a bunch of flowers delivered and assumed it was from DD but queried the wording on the card, the company had sent completely wrong order and my bouquet was four times the size and should have had expensive bath products set with it, we got it sorted but it upset DD.

It can't make up its mind here in mid Essex. Cloudy but with the odd burst of sunshine. I think the cloud will win.
Disappointment yesterday. A Mothers Day present form DD1 of an outdoor planter which should have been filled with foliage and spring plants arrived with half the compost tipped out, the plants mostly lying on top with their roots exposed and in any case there were only 2 flowering plants and three tulips with leaves about 3 inches high and no sign of buds. I decided to tell DD as I thought she would want to complain and she Tey are asking for a refund so I will wait for the outcome was glad I did. They had even sent the wrong container.

Some sunshine but I am not holding my breath. The icy winds from Siberia are still blowing our way. Rain forecast for later.

It was raining when I was in the shower. It appears fair now, but it is cold, I know this as I've just let the dog out. Brr!!! DH wants to go somewhere? today but I'm not keen.

It's dull and overcast here in North Leicestershire and, after a busy Mother's Day, I could do with a lazy day! Unfortunately, I'm going out for lunch with some old friends - it's a hard life!
