Yes, mine is being a pain in the butt at the moment too, but reading all your posts puts it into perspective.
He often takes my car at the moment, as his refuses to start in cold weather. I was due to go to choir, he was late home, only just in time. As I was going out the door he said, 'By the way, it really needs petrol, you will have to get some on the way there or you won't make it back again'! I asked why he hadn't bought some on the way home - he said he had forgotten.
Of course there were great long queues - it was a good job he was in bed asleep when I got home.

You shouldn't have been given an ear-wigging for the blasted razor...or lack of it...or whatever. I'm totally on your side. Such behaviour must mean that your husband is recovering...or he would do, providing he doesn't give you further cheek.
