Can I just thank everyone who offered e advice and support re my ex-husbands illness an to let you know that e died peacefully this morning. DD2 is of course saddened but relieved that in the end he died peacefully after suffering for so long at just 66 years old. Thank you all.xx
Sorry for your family's loss, and sending every good wish to you all that you can grieve and remember in your own way and then move forward with good memories and a positive attitude.
I hope that you will receive this in the spirit in which it was sent.
Even though you were no longer married it is still a chunk of your life that has gone and times like this often trawl up memories both happy and sad; not sure if it's just me but such times seem to bring up a total recall of past events that then have to be worked through.
Thank you all for the kind words. I was looking at the other threads especially the one about the calorific value donuts v wine. ray had a marvellous sense of humour and I can just hearing him saying 'I wish I'd kept to the donuts' he loved both too much!
