And so do I, Katek! There isn't anything I can say to make it better - grief can ambush you anywhere and on a day such as today it is bound to hit you. Your girls and you will get through this - they have you, and you have them, and I "hear" a strong, loving bond. flowers xxxx

It's 2 years today since my SIL died very suddenly and unexpectedly following routine surgery. He suffered a pulmonary embolism. My heart is heavy for my dd and DGD - she was only 6 when her daddy died - and it's been such a difficult and painful time for them both. My daughter has been amazingly strong but I truly wish for happiness for her again.
