yes phoenix I do and I am rarely out of my local Waitrose which is over the fence but 1 mile as the car goes.

That sounds like a much better system than unloading and reloading alternativegran. I'm sure the reason I haven't used it before is because I didn't have a clue how it worked blush

I always think the same Oldgreymare. Why not just sell it at a lower price?

Oldgreymare Sat 10-Jan-15 23:38:00

I love the way at Sainsburys they say, cheerily, 'OH you've got x pence off your next shop'. My dusty reply is 'That's because it was x pence too much this time!'

Self scan is much quicker Agus, I put several bags in my trolly then scan and sort as I go.

I recently received three coupons worth £6 from Waitrose for each occasion that I spent over £60 in the local shop in addition to a £10 on line offer for a £100 spend. Sainsbury's have sent £4 coupons for the next six weeks if I spend over £20, that's a realistic offer so I will shop with them this month.

I am not sure how shops work out their offers, perhaps my alternating between a big stock up then doing little shops confuses their computers.

I didn't have that loopylou I did my shop and doubled up on special offers and £18 was deducted from my bill. No way I was doing the same before 5th Jan though so the other two vouchers went in the bin.

£10 off is a bit more realistic if you spend £40.

I haven't used the self scan thingy yet Phoenix but after reading about it on another thread, I think I will give it a go next time I shop.

Waitrose haven't sent me anything sad

Anne58 Fri 09-Jan-15 12:25:06

Have you got a "My Waitrose" card Charleygirl ?

rosesarered Thu 08-Jan-15 22:30:07

Why haven't I got a voucher from them? ! Oh, yes, I very rarely buy an item there , it's so expensive, but I think I probably spent £10 with them last year, that must be worth something, surely?

Charleygirl Thu 08-Jan-15 22:18:26

Where have I gone wrong? I have not received a single voucher and I shop regularly at Waitrose because it is so convenient for me.

Greenfinch Thu 08-Jan-15 20:54:11

My "rewards" from Waitrose are on their way but I have to wait until mid-February .I can't imagine what they will be !

rosequartz Thu 08-Jan-15 20:23:16

Waitrose sent me some vouchers just before Christmas and I got £10 off my £70 shop; I thought because I picked up all the discounts the £10 wouldn't come off the final bill but he took it off before calculating the discounts (nice boy) grin

loopylou Thu 08-Jan-15 20:02:55

Just before Christmas Waitrose sent me 4 vouchers for £10, £15, £20 and £25 off next 4 shops over £60 and then, when I tried to use the first one, told me it was for new shoppers only and had to be used by Jan 4th!

Anne58 Thu 08-Jan-15 18:21:37

Just to add, Waitrose would only do "click and collect" on orders over £60!

loopylou Thu 08-Jan-15 18:19:30

Thanks Gammanana will get off butt definitely get on and do Ocado!

Anne58 Thu 08-Jan-15 18:14:49

PS Just goes to show how "they" monitor our shopping habits!

BTW, Do you use the "self scan" thingy?

Anne58 Thu 08-Jan-15 18:13:44

Agus that's interesting, the ones I got were £10 off if I spent £40! I used one of them and then bloody well lost the other one somewhere (probably mis-filed it after a bit of "research" on which wines to buy more of blush

Anne58 Thu 08-Jan-15 18:09:53

That's good to know glamma wonder if they cover my area?

glammanana Thu 08-Jan-15 18:04:50

loopylou Ocado doing £20.00 off your first order at the minute, not sure if it's £50 or £60s well worth trying,I've always been pleased with my orders from them and the delivery guy always rings me to say he is nearby.Even if you don't order now they will still keep sending you the offer every so often so worth joining anyway.

loopylou Thu 08-Jan-15 17:48:43

They must be joking! Have had one too.
Bad enough when had to spend £60 to get free delivery (stopped using them then)
Must try Ocado!

Agus Thu 08-Jan-15 17:45:56

I received 3 vouchers after Christmas along the same lines. £18 off my shopping at Waitrose......if I spent £90 per voucher before 4th January. How kind!

Riverwalk Thu 08-Jan-15 17:44:05

I've just received one ... and insulted to have been offered only £10 to return. Obviously they didn't miss me as much as phoenix!

I haven't used Waitrose online since the Xmas before last when they didn't send the turkey with my Xmas order, followed by not getting the leg of lamb at Easter!

I'm sticking with lovely Ocado.

Anne58 Thu 08-Jan-15 17:17:13

Evening all.

Just checked my email, and found one from Waitrose with the subject heading "Here's £15 off, because we've missed you"

Good oh, I thought, that could be handy this month.

So I opened the email to find that they were indeed offering £15 off, provided I placed an on-line grocery order for OVER £100 shock

To quote my DGD "me no fink so"
