Is that banned from Essex or GN ?

Hey Pompa Dya think we might get banned. Giving Essex a bad name!!!!!!

Granddads swinging so it's said
and those fat ladies that just swing
lets get them together, just for while
that would make them all smile

I am now away to my bed
Dreams and thoughts a winging
Grandad in his tartan kilt
And everything is swinging

Oh how I wish I was a Scot
The tartan I'd wear wi sgian dubh
The sporran would be for what I'd got
safe and sound till the wind blew

Dozy ? Mares? no way
perhaps a filly sprightly
what do you say?
Chase you, nightly

Rotund men show us your wears
And don't call us dozy mares.
We love you for your silly ways
Come and chase us through the maze

Pompa what have you done
With your funny po em
Grandpa with his wild oats
He will soon be sowing

Fat ladies . Don't hide away
Don your finest threads
flaunt your assets every day
“Assets”, I'm careful what I say

This fat lady hides away,
Because she cannot dance,
She`d much prefer a roll in the hay,
If only she had the chance!

Fat ladies can swing
Fat ladies can dance
Fat ladies can do anything
Given half a chance.

Ne'er heard it called that before
Noggin, bonking, and Fadoodling
but Bingo ? I'm not so sure
are those fat ladies starting to swing?

I felt a weird prediction

But panicking because
I have to rhyme with Nimitz!

The tone goes up and down at will
Just like a flipping yo-yo
As long as we don't slide down hill
It's rhymes and pomes a go-go

If we lowering the tone ?
Please don't leave me out
even if you quietly groan
how many rules he flout?

We have no tone for you to lower
For we love every word
It makes us grans a stronger bunch
From the sublime to absurd!

I seem to have lowered the tone somewhat!!!!!!

I found a pound
Upon the ground
It was golden
And oh so round.


I found it behind Dad's television yesterday.

Granset is a brilliant way
Of passing free time in the day
There is no subject that's taboo
Just a minute - need the loo!

Back again with rhymes galore
I'm trying not to make you snore.
You're all a fount of erudition -
Seasoned wisdom come to fruition.

For flowers sent - they're all so nice
For kindly thoughts when life's been tough
I cannot thank you all enough.

It has made me write a proper pome
The sort that makes me want to think
I've posted it on UK Authors
