DH insisted on going shopping with me yesterday which I knew would be a trial as he hates crowded supermarkets, pushy people and traffic jams!
He started moaning as soon as he realised it was going to be nigh on impossible to find a parking space - all the disabled ones were taken so I gritted my teeth and drove around in circles until I spotted the possibility of nicking one from a woman who was making a big deal about trying to get her very small car into a not very wide space. DH by this time was shouting (at me as nobody else could hear him) 'FFS. You could get a Sherman Tank in there.'' That old chestnut was no doubt passed down to him by his father who also had no patience with other drivers.
