She irons her undies.

Lotty's the butchers favorite totty

The baker's name is luscious Lotty.

Aam gannin hame now to eat me stotty.
(for those wondering a "stotty caek" is a flat round loaf like a large bread bun, eaten by Geordies)

That worm is a beast.

the slugs have a feast

And the lupins are looking grotty

Mother's marigolds are driving me potty

Whilst the cat is curled up on the mat.

Her partner is snoring while he sleeps

Oh, can I change that to:

A woman sits lonely and sometimes weeps

A woman sits lonely and frequently weeps

As the fox and its cubs lie snug in the deeps

waiting for blue and great tits

By the dung heap my other half sits

The gardener is tending her compost heap

The hedgehog is slumbering for his Winter sleep.

I'll go for lamb stew at the diner.

And a saddle, too, of course

But I've got me a horse

"It's only fool's gold", said the whiner

There's gold in them hills said the miner
