Limerick writing Mark 4 (animal, vegetable and mineral)

And the monkey went up on a kite.

( I have put a message on Limerick Writing no. 3 to say we have started a new thread and to come and join us Mini. I wonder if Papaoscar is taking a day off?)

With some coal, cabbage and bibbendum

(Found you again at last!)

I once tried to make carborundum

And the elephant fainted with fright!

(Where's everybody else gone? Did their satnav not reroute them from No 3? Is she doing her/his "recalculating route" thing?)

The mice felt frazzled.

The cats were dazzled

And the pearls are gleaming so white

The diamonds are sparkling so bright.

And the brown cow just stood there and wheezed.

The horse had a wee.

The donkey ate three

The carrots also looked pleased.
