So hi to one and all! smile

Talk sense or nonsense, I dont mind!
Or dont say anything at all.

Ana Thu 13-Nov-14 23:03:21

Oh yes! Sines and cosines, I remember now.

Never had cause to use them since school though!

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 23:02:15

Ahhh
Cosines sines and tangents!
I remember now.
[thought cosine was cousin spelt wrongly earlier]

Cant remember whether they are trigonometry or not as completely forgotten what trigonemetry is or means other than it is definitely maths related as well.

Soutra Thu 13-Nov-14 22:59:03

Trigonometry?

Galen Thu 13-Nov-14 22:52:53

A cosine is algebra (I think)

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 22:27:58

Oh good.
You had me worried. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 13-Nov-14 22:11:06

It's ok. I was joking. smile

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 21:13:04

Sorry smile
Didnt know how usual they were.
I am not the most travelled person in the world.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 13-Nov-14 21:03:56

Yes alright! I know what you mean! We have them as well. hmm

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 21:03:55

I do rather like the name janerowena.
Covers all eventualities really!

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 21:02:08

Perhaps it is not called a counter board.

It is a very large electronic board, which lists the car parks in the town, and how many spaces are currently free.
May be only some towns have them?

My relative is a very quick counter of numbers.
She evn manages to annoy herself doing it.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 13-Nov-14 21:00:36

grin

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 20:59:58

Yes my relative counts parking spaces.

My post about her going under the counter board is in answer to a question from gillybob.
But it is in a wrong place, so even I looked at it and thought someone was using my name!

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 13-Nov-14 20:59:45

Oh! The road sign!

I've got it! smile

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 13-Nov-14 20:58:48

But who goes under a counter board. And has time to compute. And what's a counter board?

And what's a cosine?

janerowena Thu 13-Nov-14 20:58:00

Now I will really confuse the issue - whatever it is...

soontobe offers so much choice, doesn't it? smile

janerowena Thu 13-Nov-14 20:56:45

soontobe's relative wot counts cobbles!

No, you lot are confusing me even more, she counts parking spaces!

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 20:55:29

I am soontobe, well quite a lot I think.
I was at a crossroads about a year ago.
Husband and I took 1 route, but not sure we will stay on it.
Basically, my life has been in 2 equal distinctive parts so far.
And has largely gone according to plan.
But curiously, as others seem to be mainly sort of settling into older age, we are soontobe, well, we dont quite know!
Which in some ways is nice, as I dont necessarily like too much routine, but we dont know if we will move[where to, as kids keep moving all over], and business wise, we may sell, stay, move, downsize?
And kids are entering relationships, marrying etc.

Ana Thu 13-Nov-14 20:54:10

What relative? confused

janerowena Thu 13-Nov-14 20:52:17

Thank goodness, I thought my misery might have killed off the thread.

Was the relative who goes off at a tangent a cosine?

Ana Thu 13-Nov-14 20:51:55

I assumed it was ' soon to be a gran ', but I'm not so sure now! confused

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 13-Nov-14 20:51:43

Are you on the wrong thread?

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 20:49:09

There is generally a queue as she goes under the counter board I think, so she has time to compute.

henetha Thu 13-Nov-14 20:48:10

What I would like to know is, what is it you are soon-to-be?
Married? divorced? pregnant? rich? .... just curious.

It's spelling with me, gillybob. Endless spelling of words in my head,
even in my dreams. Doing it now as I type this.

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 20:47:19

It will take me overnight to get your jokes I think Elegran

soontobe Thu 13-Nov-14 20:46:20

Nurse can round me up tomorrow Galen!
