Good morning, Michael and everyone else. It's the same here in South Manchester. My dog woke me up half an hour ago and now she's been for a wander round the garden, she's tripped off back to bed and I'm wide awake. Cheek!

Same sort of weather here in North Leicestershire and DH and I are off to have our flu jabs. Then out for lunch with a couple of his university friends and their wives but, as they are DH's friends, he drinks and I drive

The moon on my face woke me up, followed by gusting showers that kept me awake, followed by a beautiful rainbow. Nice start to the day

Only just woke up! Babysitting DGS yesterday while trying to do a bit of light housework - quietly so DDiL could nap - was more tiring than it should have been. Ended up going for a very long walk. DGS and dog enjoyed it. Luckily it's overcast and grey with a forecast of rain, so a restful day ahead for me.
