Just wondering how things are with you Lona. Haven't heard from you for a while but I hope all is well.

Charleygirl Thu 27-Nov-14 09:54:23

Bon voyage and enjoy your time with Bellasnana and her DH.

baubles Thu 27-Nov-14 09:43:33

Bon voyage Galen I hope the Heathrow experience is trouble free.

Good morning soop et al. I've survived another visit to my mother and she seems to be coping with the burglary fairly well.

Off to my drawing class today.

rosequartz Wed 26-Nov-14 20:27:45

Cue for song:

I am sailing
I am sailing
Home again
across the sea

But not yet

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 20:20:02

I am sailing, I am sailing, back! I'm only flying out!angry hate flying! Not disabled friendly!

rosequartz Wed 26-Nov-14 20:06:51

Oh, you're OK, Malta is in the EU.

But Australia is the only country without bee disease!!

rosequartz Wed 26-Nov-14 20:04:50

Galen sshh about the honey - I brought a very large jar back from Oz once (SIL and DD's honey from their farm) then saw the notice about it at Heathrow. Not saying any more, but it was delicious!

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 19:50:56

grin!!!!!!!!!

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 19:50:27

[hrin]

kittylester Wed 26-Nov-14 19:20:48

That's the answer then Galen - I thought I'd lost the knack!!

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 18:55:33

Bella were yu perhaps younger when you had your children?
Just askingsmile

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 18:53:52

Oh! I must get some Maltese honey for my honey addicted darling daughter !grin

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 18:51:13

Bella would 9.30 be ok? If not 10am whatever's easiest for you! It takes at least an hour for them to clear formalities and arrange gangplanks etc? First half hour is always a queue for disembarking.

Bellasnana Wed 26-Nov-14 17:54:22

Hello lovelies smile I'm all of a dither for some reason. Could be that I have had DGD since last Friday and she's a full-time job grin
(I love her to bits, bless her.)

Galen , who is this milkman you are bringing. Shall I book an extra place at lunch for him grin

Glad your paking is almost done and will look forward to seeing you Tues. Apparently you dock at 8am and depart at 6pm so let us know what time suits you to be picked up and we will be there. Hope the weather behaves. Today was foul so it had better improve by Tues.

Ok, excuse me for rushing in and out but must go and give DGD a bath. How did I raise four kids when this one little 3 yr old is so exhausting? confused

flowers for soop and all her kitcheners

numberplease Wed 26-Nov-14 17:54:20

Bon Voyage Galen!

rosequartz Wed 26-Nov-14 17:47:41

Galen Au Revoir and Bon Voyage. Well done, you are nearly paked! T

Yes, I have been having problems too, typed out something to post on here yesterday then again earlier this afternoon and GN shut down! Then I could not get in again so found something else to do - soaking the fruit for the Christmas cakes in brandy and rum; I felt like soaking some up myself but had a brew instead. I am rther late making them but have been very busy lately.

Now I have lost track of what is happening, but good wishes to all and flowers to anyone who is feeling a bit down for whatever reason.

Galen Wed 26-Nov-14 17:36:23

Well I'm practically paked!
Just jewellry and toiletries to go.
Darling daughter and DGC coming tomorrow as darling daughter has lost anther filling! I'm the child holder while it gets filled!

dustyangel Wed 26-Nov-14 16:56:01

Despite all that previewing, I don't always read it properly.grin

dustyangel Wed 26-Nov-14 16:53:05

Me too, that is I'm just popping to wish Galen a safe journey and a very enjoyable cruise.

soop I have that sort of problem with my iPad. If I'm reading long thread when I go to turn the page it says no internet connection. Then I have fiddle about trying other things till it comes back on. The same when I'm posting, the only thing to stop it seems to be by previewing every other sentence. Other wise I lose the lot. It's bit inhibiting though. (I've done it six times so far writing this) I think it probably is our internet connection which I can't do much about. It doesn't happen with my old laptop but that is so slow it drives me mad anyway. hmm

Agus Wed 26-Nov-14 16:49:58

Just wondering what may have 'shocked' sparky. confused wink

kittylester Wed 26-Nov-14 15:25:28

Just popping in to say Bon Voyage to Galen!

soop Wed 26-Nov-14 15:12:26

May I ask...are any of you lot having the most frustrating of sessions with your pooter? I've been cut off and reconnected more times than I care to mention. I am at a loss for expletives. And, may I say, that takes some doing!

soop Wed 26-Nov-14 15:08:39

Agus I've finished with "sparky"...he was given sufficient refreshments in-between doing what he came for. I've now seen him off the premises with his hair standing on end. wink

It's a chilly, dry day in bonnie Kintyre. I shall warm myself up by doing a spot of house work. Not too much mind. It's ironing day for my pal tomorrow. A girl can handle only so much excitement. grin
