Morning all! Just about back to normal after two weeks of half-term grand- children care duties completed. It's been exhausting but joyful and given us lots to chat about subsequently.

It looks set fair here in SE Hampshire but is much cooler than last week.

Bright and sunny here in Durham but the first frost overnight. Lovely weather yesterday to put bulbs in pots. Countdown to the cruise started.

Its cloudy and freezing in my bit of North Leicestershire. I had another rotten night coughing and twisting and turning so DH has offered to forego the course he was supposed to be on today which is entitled 'Treating the Elderly and Infirm' on the basis that he can do that at home!!

Actually, he will take DS1 to the two appointments he has this morning (30 miles apart!!) which I would normally do, while I try to catch up with some rest! I actually quite like ferrying DS about as we get time on our own to catch up and I read a book in the car while he is in his appointment.

Morning all. Beautiful crisp and sunny day on the fens. I needed to put a fleece on when I walked the dogs - first time this year and it's November!! DH has an appointment at the surgery so I'll have to get a shift on.

Good morning, lovely sunny day after the first frost of autumn. Piles of washing after half term and GC staying, need to get on with it ... well in a minute. DH has cold and chest infection courtesy of GC, they are so ready to hand out cuddles and germs.

Good morning all, I'm back in Portugal after three weeks in England, mostly with the family which was lovely. Very intermittent WIFI though, not so good.
It's very windy this morning so the weather is changing every five minutes. Blue skies at the moment but grey clouds on the horizon.
The forecast said 4 metre waves at the coast today, so we will try to get down there and see them.

It's raining.

A beautiful sunny day on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, but freezing in the night, although the dahlias seem to have escaped a frost somehow. As the forecast here is for 2C tonight, I will have to enjoy them today.
