This thread is for you - and please do take a look around. We don't bite (but we do bake
) x
Londonrach
I couldnt register yesterday but ok today so mntters try again. Can i have a piece of cake and do you have anything other than tea and coffee please and i dont like either....
- never too early
Mommie Dearest here. If either of you two are on here this morning.....best behaviour please
Just having my kick start espresso! If anyone wants to join me, there's plenty more.
The registration process must have frightened many MNers off - or they're still reading the 25 Threads (not MN's finest IMO - but hey ho). It's boring just reading them, I like the interaction. It's normally really busy on MN on a Saturday morning.
Right - need to go and interact with my coffee machine!
Back in 5.
Thanks for the
& Lona much appreciated
Hobbles in on crutches looks for a comfortable sofa to sprawl out on thanks for giving us a temporary home my sanity will be saved today (looks around a sees what cake a can take of your hands ) I am pg that's my excuse
WhenIm64 - we were told by MNHQ 'NO swearing' a bit like your Mum reminding you of your manners before visiting Granny
Then look at Lona's comment
This is beginning to feel like the chat I had with DIL the other day. She told me she tries to be on her best behaviour (but never quite manages it) when she's with me or her mum. That's lovely, but I love her as she is. We know each other well enough to be able to loosen our corsets and have a good gossip, so why don't you relax and do the same. Not that I'm assuming anyone wears corsets these days!
Welcome MNetters
, it's nice to have some wild young things on here for a change.
Help yourself to and make yourselves at home.
If you must swear, can you do it under your breath please
Who said you aren't allowed to swear, Chipping? We probably don't swear quite as much as on MN, but sometimes a bit of effin' and blindin' is just what is needed
Morning
That was a mission, I thought I'd signed up before, but we must have been granted some special visitation rights or something because I had to register this morning. Laptop didn't want to comply, so 40 minutes later here I am. I wont tell you what I said, because we've been told we aren't allowed to swear here - just like going to visit Granny IRL
Good morning
Its nice here innit.
I can't wait to be a gran. Thank you for having us btw
I don't think so Juniper.
I like the and
too
Oops sorry for swearing. Apologies.
Yes I can see a future for in all sorts of guises on MN. It should replace the [biscuit]. Its dark outside Its that time of the month when MN goes batshit <howl>
You are talking rubbish so I am ing you in response.
.....PS.....pets welcome! My dog would love some playmates
Your Mum would be very welcome, send her along Juniper. I've only been a member since March, but there are people here I count as friends, even though we've never met.
The more, the merrier.
Morning, Mumsnetters . Nice to have you around, even if it's just a short stay. Dive in and make yourself at home. No Werthers Originals or Victoria Sponges (unless you've brought them?) but we can soon make it homely. Quite a few of us are Mumsnetters, too.
Anyone fancy a coffee? Tea? Hang on, I'll have to get more cups - back in a bit.
Ooh, this is nice. Prefer the colour scheme. It's still here, this is very useful. Are we allowed to ask MNHQ to add steal it, when everything is back?
I like the colours and tone of Gransnet. I've worked out how to bookmark. Can I colour my posts?
This is a very nice place to spend the morning (on and off, Rugby in the rain first).
I might send my mum here. She would like it I think.
I need today.
Good morning all and thanks to GN for welcoming us
