Hi ethel, just in case you haven't had any luck, here are some more details:

- Hover over 'My Gransnet' along the top-right
- Click on 'Photos' and on the next page, find the picture you'd like to delete.
- Next to it you should see a message saying 'Edit picture details' and if you click on this, there will be a 'delete' option at the bottom of the pop-up that comes up.

Hope that helps!

Right! taking a deep breath!
Go to the Gransnet home page, what shows as you first go into GN front page with the GN Icon on the left of the page

Click on Forums and you see the page listing the different topics.
under that are heading boxes with.

Welcome.. Our philosophy and rules. Media request : Advertising.
under there is this .....

Join || My Gransnet || Getting started || About us.

Click on the My Gransnet box and you should be able to change your profile details and edit any pictures.
xx

ethelbags1 go to your profile and at the bottom you will see where it says 'remember to save' you have to make your page 'visible to all gransnetters' that will 'blue' your name.

etheltbags1 Sat 04-Oct-14 20:33:22

No I realise that no-one can see them but I want to delete one of them before anyone can see them, how do you 'blue' your name anyway.

annodomini Sat 04-Oct-14 20:31:33

ethelbags, since you haven't 'blued' your name, your photos aren't visible to us anyway.

Hi ethelbags1
I'm afraid I'm not sure how to do this but I'm sure Lucy will know and she'll be on duty in the morning if you can bear to hang on a few more hours. I'll make sure I send her an email forewarning her of the issue.
Hope that helps smile

Tried that to no avail

ethelbags1 if you go into your gransnet, your photos.

Then each photo has 'edit photo details' click on that and at the bottom on the right it has 'save' or 'delete' I assume if you click the 'delete' box the picture will be deleted..

I hope that makes sense..

Please tell me how I can delete some photos I downloaded to my profile. I have tried sending an e mail but no result. Im trying to build my profile page and its difficult but I really need to be able to delete.
Please tell me what to do, anyone, if Gnet HQ does not reply to this
