Hello everyone, iy's been raining in Northumberland on and off since the wee small hours. DH and I are still on the 5:2 diet after a month and it's diet day today. I'm enjoying the challenge of planning a 500/600 calorie menu. Wish DH would get a new battery for the bathroom scales as I don't know if it's working.

Good morning. There was an unusual sound this morning - raindrops pattering on the window. So that's the end of our Indian summer. I suppose it had to happen sometime. I've just seen the forecast for tomorrow night into Monday. Stormy!

We are off to St. Dunstans in Brighton this morning - lunch on the way, and dropping off a friend who will be spending a few days there whilst his wife has a short holiday with another friend.
