Morning Mick, morning Berdie, morning All. A lovely apricot glow in the sky when I came down this morning, but it's rapidly fading to overcast greyness. The weather was bound to change - we're going to Yorkshire next week with the caravan. Ho hum.

Good morning all, overcast and rain forecast. We are off to St. Dunstans in Brighton this morning - lunch on the way, and dropping off a friend who will be spending a few days there whilst his wife has a short holiday with another friend. Looking forward to being shown round, as I hear it is a lovely place. Enjoy your days.

Morning all.

Heavy rain forecast here too. A complete change from the 22c sunshine we had yesterday.

Today I am going into the man cave that is 23 yr old DS bedroom, it has to be cleared as carpet fitters are coming on Monday. Wish me luck, I may be some time !!

Didn't know about it was the food fair this weekend! Must have missed the ads! Darn thing it - we usually go! Is it at the Cattle Market?

annodomini Sat 04-Oct-14 09:24:58

Good morning. There was an unusual sound this morning - raindrops pattering on the window. So that's the end of our Indian summer. I suppose it had to happen sometime. I've just seen the forecast for tomorrow night into Monday. Stormy!

kitty Don't eat all the pies. wink

Ninathenana Tie a rope to yourself and the outside door handle so you can be found if you don't reappear in three hours.

What to do today?

There is a good farmers market near here in a minor estate but I am not sure I want to get my car stuck in the mud in their field. Its rained heavily overnight.

Should I go and get paint samples from B&Q ?

Look at new cookers in Currys?

Sit at home trying to get "Find my pasts" new site to work.

Read my book.

Start clearing out the stuff in the Kitchen cupboards before the replacement door people come Monday week or what?

Answers on here please.

Good morning everyone, no rain here yet but grey. Was hoping for a walk into town to get the paper but it may have to be the car! Have a good day all.

Good morning all. No rain yet in East Sussex but quite grey. Finished elder DD birthday present and started a crochet blanket. Due to IOS 8 had no iPad for several days but it's working at the moment. Fingers crossed.

Good morning, rain started in the early hours. Going out for lunch, expect the roads will be greasy as it is the first rain in along time.

Hello everyone, iy's been raining in Northumberland on and off since the wee small hours. DH and I are still on the 5:2 diet after a month and it's diet day today. I'm enjoying the challenge of planning a 500/600 calorie menu. Wish DH would get a new battery for the bathroom scales as I don't know if it's working.

Very bright start to day here! Washing done early and on line and dry now! Very dark skies now, rain predicted at 1pm, we will see how accurate that is!
Sorry to see end of lovely September sad

gma Sat 04-Oct-14 12:51:17

How's that for timing? As I pressed 'post message' it started to rain, and now very windy! Good luck in Yorkshire Nfk dumpling! My brother is there at moment and it always rains for him!!

ninathenana Sat 04-Oct-14 15:18:48

Nellie that made me and DH laugh.

I think you should do a couple of hours in the kitchen and then reward yourself with brew and your book.

Now bright and breezy in North Cheshire. A bit colder, but not cold for October.
