Morning all from SE Hampshire coast. Blue sky and high white streaks of cloud. Looks set to be a nice day!

We are taking DGC out for brunch this morning then DGS has an under-10s football match. Their Mum, DD will be back from her party in Oxford later and DSiL back from Mexico late tonight. So we can resume our normal caring at a distance roles!

It looks as though it may be a pleasant day here in NW London- the sun is peeping through and it is not cold. I am meeting a friend for lunch so I should not really hang around on this forum as the house looks as though a bombshell has hit it.

Had a lovely day out yesterday lunch with friends, then a visit to some other friends to look at their new home - a 15th century cottage which has been extended, and they are continuing the good work, looks lovely, but not at my age, thank you. Good morning, the north east is overcast today but it feels mild. GC are with other GPs today so I am going to have a lazy day with the papers and TV.

It is a lovely day here in North Leicestershire so I've dug out a pair of linen trousers - that'll spoil that then!

A quiet day here. Dh has a cold and is making the most of it. DGC are going to have a couple of hours with the Idiot later so, until they get back, it will be lovely and peaceful!! It's the littlest DGD's 1st birthday to day too. We won't see them as they are away but, after yesterday's Teddy Bears Picnic party, I'm quite relieved!!
