Proud to announce the forthcoming birth (March 2015) of our 12th grandchild. A sibling for our youngest DGD. So proud and happy, we thought they would only have the one as DiL also step mum to my DS's teenage children, and a wonderful step mum she is too. This little one will also be the DGD of my late very best friend who died 17 years ago. Miss her still but I have enough love to give the two little ones for her and I. Every time I look in the little DGD's eyes I can see her other Nanny. She certainly has her eyes. My DiL was only 17 when her mum died. So happy that she married my DS. Things have turned full circle.smile

I'm a bit jealous, Flower. Having 4 children, I'd expected lots of grandchildren, but I only have 6 and no more likely. I heartily welcomed every baby but at Christmas I have to be grateful there aren't more!

Lovely News. I only have 1 DGS who is now 12 and I love him to bits. My youngest DD is getting married next April and they have hinted that hopefully a family will follow soon.
