I would go to my local library twice on Saturdays as a child. I was a fast and avid reader of Enid Blyton and for several weeks, I took out 3 books when the library opened. I'd read one on the way home, stopping in the park to concentrate, then one at home and most of the next one, then just before the library closed I would apoear to change the books, having finished the 3rd book on the way back. I started using my mum's library tickets, too, then she gave me a note, asking if they'd give me more tickets. When I reached my limit, they allowed me to start choosing adult books which would last longer and Agatha Christie did the trick.
I've always got a book near to hand and every few months I distribute them where I can, as I read at least a couple a week. I read quite a few different newspapers online, too. About 20 years ago, whilst read the Sunday paper and stirring gravy on the hob, I set the paper on fire!
Do people still stamp their feet in anger?
Soops kitchen, a place of reflection, refuge and at times revelry.

Apart from a select few which I will keep.
