Congratulations Mishap....what lovely news! Our DS and DIL are expecting no 2 in late January so I know how excited you are. Our DGS will only be 21 months when his new sibling arrives....glad it's not me!! I had big gaps between my 3. Think we had 23 years of parents' nights though.

It's a bit early for congratulations but an exciting secret to keep.
I didn't tell my mother about my fourth until I was 6 months pregnant, knowing she would disapprove. She had a dozen grandchildren and I looked forward to lots too but now I'm glad to only have a few, Christmas is SO expensive.

Me too, Mishap and I'm over the moon! grin We have another little one on the way, due mid March. That'll be number 3 for me if all goes well. The baby's big brother will be 2 years 3 months and his little cousin will be 20 months old old by then.

As for the royals, Prince George followed our DGS2 a couple of weeks later and it looks as though they are copying us again. Sigh!

flowers to you Mishap, and yes, some for me too I think flowers!

That's lovely, Mishap. I am a little jealous, though. When I first joined Gransnet, my five little'uns, who were all born within three and a half years, were really tiny. Our youngest has just had his fifth birthday and gone to school! I so miss having babies around. Enjoy, Mishap!

DD has just told us that she is 8 weeks pregnant. So - a seventh GC in April if all goes well. It's all a bit hush hush at the moment here, as she works for another DD and SIL and they do not know yet. I will be glad when all the family know and we can all be happy for her openly.

Her present child will be 2 and a bit when new baby arrives - she is going to have her hands full - I remember it well!
