Dear friend pointed out that I hobbled across the room just like her when I got off her sofa (and there was me thinking I was being all elegant in front of a roomful of people).

My 5 year old GS has recently watched John Clees doing his silly walks - he keeps doing it himself. But he very astutely pointed out that it is not so funny when you have little legs!

Yes, especially noticeable at the cinema or theatre, makes me feel very old, which of course I'm not! wink

I do that anytime I've been sitting too long. My Dad used to call it "hippet" (with a Scottish accent). Sometimes I get all the way out of the room before I straighten up. I'm quite fit otherwise!

Have any of you noticed that when getting out of the car after a hour or so that you walk a bit oddly for about 20 steps before you get back into your normal gait ?

Or is it just me ?
