My Fantasy Life

Flowerofthewest forget Walberswick, someone I know (I used to want to live there too) said she hated living there, it was like Stepford Wives because it was full of women whose husbands (including hers) all worked and lived in London during the week. She is an opera singer and was having a break while her 3 girls were young and at school. She said it was a dreadful shallow existence!

I would like the chance to own and sell a house in Walberswick

To lose weight without having to cut down on Cake

To pay off the mortgage, which has been static and interest only for some years

To buy my children a small house each

To have enough money to put my mother in a decent Home. She doesn't need one as yet, but she isn't going to be easy for anyone to look after.

To be rid of all aches and pains

To be taken away on holiday by private jet and chauffeur, with no worries about lost luggage or missed connections or car breakdowns. By myself. NO family, just lots of books and a private cottage on a beach with private pool and chef.

I don't ask for much.

I know how lucky I am and reading these posts confirms it.
Only one thing I would wish for: to not have a fear of heights.
When we had our Motohome there were so many places we couldn't go because of it.

I'm quite happy with my lot, but to be truly happy winter would cease to exist, it would never snow ever again, the sun would shine every day and Christmas would be banned!

I would love to

Be 6st lighter
Be a lot fitter
Be more confident
Be good at the witty rejoinders
Be able to buy a cottage on the Kintyre coast, west side, near Soop!
Be more patient
Be able to ignore hubby when he gets mardy, which is almost all the time!
Be pretty (I know, handsome is as handsome does, as my Grandma used to say!)

believe in my own talents as much as I believe in other people's
take myself seriously when I write fiction or paint pictures
finish that mending pile - and everything else I ever started...
have the energy to chase AND catch my grandsons
have the money to visit my sisters more often (darn Red Funnel prices) and pay off my kids' students loans
have lots of energy (hmm time to lose that three stone)
learn the cello (bought one ten years ago and still need to organise lessons)

Funny, some of this is doable!

Other wilder dreams are to sing more reliably in tune and be able to go braless! That is probably linked to losing three stone

I would love to

Have had a longer marriage
Be able to make up my mind about what to do with the rest of my life
Accept that which has passed and live the present without guilt
Finish something which I have started
Perfect my French/Spanish/Italian
Acquire patience
Improve my memory - even retaining a phone number is a problem.....
Swim with my head under the water
Learn better breathing technique so I could sing properly
Have my jaw realigned so I could have a chin which didn't disappear into my neck
Lose my fear of rodents
Be tidier

but most of all :
I would like my DBH back, alive, well and laughing

invent a cure of all auto immune conditions
have a better behaved cockapoo
join a choir
have the energy to go to the choir if it met in the evening
be brave enough to go on one of those courses called "anyone can draw"

Be able to accept myself warts and all
Be able to accept that people actually like me

Have enough money to support all my family who don't have lots of money

Visit all my old aunties that I haven't seen in so long.

Do yoga like a Master

Obtain a PhD in Social Anthropology

Own a successful business.
