Dull start here in N.Kent. We are promised 'sunny spells'

Good morning Mick and eveyone. It's a lovely morning in Northumberland, blue sky and sunshine if a little nippy. DH wants to visit a garden near Penrith this morning. I'll have to find something suiable to wear..

Cloudy but still quite bright though a little chilly in north essex.

Good morning all. I'm still in Chester and it is chucking it down with rain. Get the train back to sunny Sussex this afternoon.
Went to Pizza Express in Chester for lunch yesterday, two adults and two kids, the cost was £57. Ouch. I did enjoy it though and the staff were quick and pleasant.

Mornin' All. The sun first thing has disappeared behind a bank of cloud. Looks like we're back to the normal bank holiday weather.

DD1 heard last night that one of the two possible puppies they were going to buy has died (the breeder was keeping the other but hadn't decided which one). Hopefully the breeder will decide to take the money and forgo the second pup.

Chilly and cloudy in North Leicestershire today! A bit of trying to get organised this morning - catching up on emails, phone calls this morning and then a cup of tea with a friend this afternoon.

Cocker Spaniel. Apparently she'd had a bladder infection but they thought she was over it.

Nine puppies in the litter, breeder wanted to keep two bitches, there is another dog pup unsold, but DD wanted a bitch as they already have a 7year old cocker dog who's a bit dominant. She's hoping the breeder will be happy to just keep one bitch but a rather think she'll push them to have the unsold dog (who is a nice little pup)

Just had a heavy shower here in south Devon. Forecast says rest of day will be sunny.
Outing with grand-daughter cancelled (they've all gone to Alton Towers ),
so twiddling thumbs...... mmmmmm.......

Good morning all, lovely day here in Bradford, and it's my last day at work. Retirement at last, it's been a long 50 years.Looking forward to being on GN more. Yipppeeee.
