Limerick writing Mark 3 (colour, animal,number).

The two were asleep, being bored....

The Sheriff, an old ram, was annoyed

The ewes in his posse were deployed

To search out that fox

Amongst the many rocks

They did, and the ram was overjoyed

The lambs were completely confused

"He's really a wolf," they accused

He removed his sheepskin

And showed his blue skin.

So the whole flock of sheep was bemused.

The Sheriff had a friend, an old goat

Whom he took fishing in his old boat

The goat said "Gee Whizz"

The Sheriff 'here's some fizz'

The pike gobbled up the bait and float.

There once was a pretty pink hamster

Got involved with a Starbuck's barrista

She looked all doe-eyed

And a trifle surprised.

When a latte arrived from her Sister

(For her sister, perhaps)

Followed by two slices of gateau

Her diet had reached a plateau.

"Just one more slice, please!"
