AlieOxon Sat 05-Jul-14 19:18:05

I learn something every day.....

Ana Sat 05-Jul-14 19:13:01

I expect they still sell mirkins. That would solve the present-day problem! wink

Purpledaffodil Sat 05-Jul-14 18:34:17

You are right AlieOxon. It was very controversial and daring at the time. Now the fashionisti would be amazed she had any to shape I suppose.smile

Lona Sat 05-Jul-14 17:49:26

A friend of mine had a bleached blonde heart shape shock

AlieOxon Sat 05-Jul-14 15:46:09

I seem to remember it was Mary Quant who shaved a heart shape?....and that's a long time ago.....

(Hope I don't have the wrong person!)

Pink Lawnmowers?

And the blonde in the polka-dot skirt is no singer...

FarNorth Sat 05-Jul-14 14:32:14

A friend of mine had an embarrassing time on holiday due to an infection in her underarm, caused by shaving -- it could have been so much worse! blush.
What do you think of this Wilkinson Sword ad?

Was introduced to nice man in Canada who shook my hand and said "Good to meet you, I'm Randy". shock

Agus Wed 02-Jul-14 09:17:30

I had told DH what my aunt referred to 'those bits' as, Robin and Betsy!

The inevitable eventually happened and it was so difficult to keep a straight face as we were introduced to Robin and Betsy at a function!

feetlebaum Wed 02-Jul-14 09:00:48

Mingeazzle?

Pittcity Wed 02-Jul-14 08:59:56

A friend of mine buys a magazine called "Period Ideas" - I'll ask what they are recommending this month...

Elegran Wed 02-Jul-14 08:51:46

Monspubijazzle? fanjazzle? cunjazzle? twajazzle?

Anne58 Tue 01-Jul-14 23:18:05

Galen know what you mean but vulvajazzle doesn't quite have the same ring..... or glitter.....or stars.......

Soutra Tue 01-Jul-14 22:34:49

grin shockgrin
Words fail me!

Nelliemoser Tue 01-Jul-14 22:31:51

I bet you Blue Peter had never thought of this idea as a possible use for sticky back plastic.

Dragonfly1 Tue 01-Jul-14 22:30:52

I think it's hilarious that this thread is now on GN's Twitter feed!

Galen Tue 01-Jul-14 22:20:58

Vajazzle! Surely not internal?

Elegran Tue 01-Jul-14 22:02:36

Sorry, vajazzling, though it couild just as easily be bedazzling.

Elegran Tue 01-Jul-14 22:01:29

And Val will be showing us her bejazzling . . .

Purpledaffodil Tue 01-Jul-14 21:57:33

Put like that Elegran, it sounds like something on Blue Peter. More Blue than usual blush

Elegran Tue 01-Jul-14 21:41:00

Takes five or ten minutes? All that shaving, drying, designing, sticking on, sealing, waiting for it to dry - and then it says it is not very permanent. For all that palaver I would want it to last several weeks at least!

I should think the aforementioned young lad would be too dazzledgrin

Deedaa Tue 01-Jul-14 21:33:34

I would mention Upcycling, but it sounds a bit painful in this context grin

Elegran Tue 01-Jul-14 21:27:39

Wouldn't the crystals be scratchy for - er - anything coming into contact with them? A young lad could come to harm.
