It's sort of sunny here - sun is shining but there's very black clouds all around. Heavy overnight rain so the beans should come on nicely.

Had a phone call last night asking us to babysit DGS today (just crawling) as his nursery had muddled his days there. Now having a quick tidy up!

Just back from fun, full on chaotic weekend for son's 40th.

Both GSs 3 and 1 had a fun and lots of attention. Now we have left DiL says they are playing up. That's kids for you.

It's a bright and sunny start in North Leicestershire. We had the heating on last night so woke glowing gently as we had forgotten to turn it down before we went to bed!

A little shopping this morning and some ironing this afternoon with some dead heading in between! Oh, the excitement!

Lovely blue sky here in Manchester. My DD is arriving at lunchtime with her new baby - coming on the train from Euston. All ready for them but just need to practice with the car seat a few more times as you seem to need a degree in engineering to master it!
