On my bookshelf I have two photo's of GS1 and one taken when DD received her PhD. DD's one does include DH and me, SiL and DS so it's a good one to have out.
SiL, being American, thinks we're really odd, apparently they have family photo's all over the house in the US. He and DD have lots of studio photo's of GS1 on the walls, but so far there have been none of GS2 - they don't seem to have time to hang round photographer's studios with two of them grin

All those frames......We're seriously de-cluttering and I'll be dropping off a box full of photo frames at EMMAUS next week. The photos are safe in a album old shoe box but how ever much money do we waste on frames??

We just have our childrens` wedding photos, and several pics of the grandchildren, changed when new photos come along, or we`d need a new house to put them all up! There`s also a digital photo frame with all sorts on it, changes all the time, there are over 200 photos on there, I change a few about once a year.

This is an interesting topic for me. I got reprimanded by by Daughter because I don't have any photographs of her/her sisters/my grandchildren around the house. I don't know why this is, but I have all the images of them I want to in my head. I really just don't 'do' photos…I prefer paintings

They are all over the house, because the DC keep giving me more as presents (in frames) and I don't like to put them away.

It's beginning to look like an old granny's house.

This topic has reminded me that I have not put back the few photos on my bookshelves from Christmas! I always put them away to make room for the Christmas cards, and have forgotten to replace them! Mine are mostly grandparents and mum, who have all passed away, and a family wedding one.

I love to display family photos but I tend to change them for more recent ones. You can only have so many.....hmm

Oops I've messed up the apostrophes. I blame the Kindle <hides in shame>.

I do have a few! In the front room I have a shelf with pics of parents/grandparents/nephews/ our kids etc. These are small black and white photos in 'silver'frames. About a dozen of them. I also have 2 small (half postcard size) photos of each DD with their partners on a windowsill.
In the kitchen I have two wall pics of DGSs and DGDs In the back room I have a pic of each DGC on their 1st birthday and then random pics in frames on the bookshelves ! In our bedroom we have a multi picture frame with pics/invite and order of service from our wedding that DDs put together for our ruby wedding anniversary! I am not a sentimental person.

I don't know whether I'm simply unsentimental or what - but I go to friend's and acquaintance's homes and often one whole wall will be covered in family photos, or there will be a dozen smaller frames displayed on a table or sideboard. I have about 3 in my whole house - completely random. One of my MIL before she got ill (Alzheimer's), one of my son and his wife on their wedding day, and one of my daughter when she was about 3 years old. That's it!
