Good Morning Thursday

Good...........afternoon now to all. Very warm and sunny here today, but hubby just had a walk to the Co-op down the road, wearing a fur lined cardigan, and it was zipped up!

Morning all! Looking cloudy and feeling much fresher here in SE Hampshire. We've done the supermarket run. It's nice and quiet at 7am, which is ideal for we early risers and crowds-haters.

Got to get the truckle bed pulled out and made up ready for DGCs' overnight stay tomorrow, whilst their parents attend their village ball. We used to call it a dinner dance but these days, apparently, it's a ball!

I had a lovely mini meetup with Greenfinch yesterday and a local friend is calling round at 10.00 to go out to lunch today.

Did 10 mins on my excercycle. cleatred kitchen, tidied bedding & checking out my lap top whilst listening to BBC Radio 4 & taking in all the woes & troubles of our beautiful planet Earth.
Replied to my wife's E-mail daily post & will be on Skype at 1.00 pm for an hour or so. She's in Leroy, Illinois, with our daughter recovering from serious operations. Hope's to be back by October.

Yes, one of the joys of ageing, the early waking. The other side of it, is the early to bed that waking up so early demands, and so it goes on. It's a bit overcast, and slightly chill here in the north west. Jackets on for the morning walk, then lunch time nw gransnet get together, good!

Wide awake at 4.30 which I didn't really want to be as I have a lot to do today! Plenty coffee will be the order of the day but I already feel like a half shut knife!

Weather wise, the sky is as cloudy as my head but hoping we both brighten up a bit later in the day

Nice and sunny but a little chilly in north essex. Just been told the doctor now thinks Ive got hay fever.Fingers crossed that the tablets work.because the cough has realy taken it out of me.Have a nice day

It's a lovely morning here again. The rain which has been consistently forecast over the last week just hasn't happened - apart from a torrential storm on Tuesday.
