Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Sparkygran! It started off dull this morning, but warm and sunny now.

Congrats to the Golden couple. Sunny here in Durham but it will try to cloud up as soon as the washing goes out/I try to sit on the swing with my tea. Thank goodness they lost last night . They keep wondering why on the radio.

I'm back in Surrey for 10 days and it's sunny with a few clouds here today.
Just after I arrived yesterday, their friend who is a plasterer called in to say that he can start doing the work they wanted on Saturday. They have been waiting ages to have all of downstairs and the hall, stairs and landing skimmed before decorating. As DD1 said, it's going to be chaos.

It's a beautiful morning here, after two or three rather overcast and chilly ones. So we're off to (hopefully) sunny Aylesbury to see DD1 and 2 DGDs - oh, and DSiL!

Though, if Mum really does tell the vicar that she knows DN has had sex and shouldn't be marrying in white, I could have been right first time.

Well the footballs almost over and another civil war in Iraq is imminent and we will have to get involved- I feel quite worried about this one. Heard an expert on BBC Breakfast news explaining how many ISIS members are European and as such can freely come and go through Europe and the likelihood of another 9/11 is increasing!

So on that not I think I'll go to golf.

After a lovely sunny start it's clouded over in SE Hampshire but still feels warm. My sweet peas have decided to bloom all at once and I now have two big vases and more to pick They are so pretty.

We are going to pick up a new garden seat today - hope it fits in the car. Then I want to prune my box ball - has to be done after the Derby and that's been and gone so need to get cracking!

It's 8.02 here in Buckley, Flintshire & a lovely warm sunny morning. The Clwyd hills look very inviting. Am hoping to get outside later this afternoon & snooze in the Sun!
Just e-mailed my wife in Illinois & later we will have our 1st session on Skype......Do any of you use Skype? I do & find it cheaper than BT landline!

Good morning everyone. It's part cloud, part sun in Northumberland, and warming up nicely. Congratulations to sparkygran and hubby on your golden wedding. Hope you have a fabulous day. Mine began at 03.00. My journey to work was interupted by a policeman who held me up while a dead deer and slightly mangled vehicle were moved from the road, these are the penalties for living in a beautiful rural place.

Good morning all, rather dull here, but again promises of a bright day. Ache all over after finally getting the water feature working yesterday, but it looks good so worth it, should not be on by hands and knees at my age, but we never learn. Think I might try a game of bowls later on to loosen up the joints. Well done sparky, don't suppose it has all been beer and skittles, but it is very satisfying, isn't it? Enjoy your days
