Over the last 3 days I have eaten my way through a jar of almond butter. I am the same with peanut butter. Only solution is not to have them in the cupboard in future sad

Salted popcorn, brazil, cashew and pistachio nuts.

Strangely enough, I hate peanut butter confused

Sorry about the grammatical error. blush

Oh Soutra, how strange, I also bought a jar of organic almond butter on Saturday. Eaten the lot!!! Then looked at the calories!!!! But oh boy was it worth it. Also think of the good it done, supposed to be so good for you. confused

Anzac biscuits, carob covered raisins and ginger fudge. (Does the wine cellar count? in which case, Prosecco especially at this time of year when we have the occasional balmy evening..... or barmy evening after the Prosecco!) smile

I am with you on the cheese Nellie. I have started buying the '5 counties' variety, so have to cut off in slices to include all flavours. A large block will disappear in less than a week.

I think cheese is my biggest downfall for snacking, hacking little pieces off with a knife while doing other things. I do not have a very sweet tooth.

Again Nutella, jars of, and marzipan, blocks of. Cheese. And pesto, which I eat by the spoonful, especially the aubergine kind. Any chocolate at all, including the ambassador's favourite, which I don't even like. Glace cherries. Brazil nuts.

I love peanut butter and eat great spoonfuls of it straight from the jar. I keep it in because my GS (who lives here) likes it.

Then this afternoon I decided to treat myself to some Werthers Originals. I decided to buy the packet rather than the tube though I usually have the tube because there are less sweets in it (if you see what I mean).

DH went to the supermarket and came back with TWO packets because Waitrose were doing two for £2 instead of £1.25 a single pack. I bet I've eaten them all by the weekend!

I've tried explaining to him about this kind of thing before but he doesn't get it.

Marzipan for me too, especially the kind sold for covering cakes. Kit kats straight from the fridge, peanut butter - crunchy kind. Cheese especially Tickler, it is too yummy. Yes and the chocolate fingers I can eat a handful at a time.

Jelly bellys which I buy huge bags of in USA then eat them far too quickly when home. I also buy them here if they are on offer. As I have two sons in USA, I buy them too often for the waistline.

Marshmallows - only about 8 used in cupcakes so why are there none left? confused

Flakes, which I keep in the freezer as they crumble better for puddings etc, except there are never any there - must be mice - can mice get into freezers? confusedconfused

Cake. Biscuits. Chocolate.
Really nice bread.

Glad to read that I am not alone! I made a chocolate owl cake for my granddaughter and managed to work my way through the leftover white and milk chocolate buttons, cadbury flake, chocolate finger biscuits and marzipan. Groan! Then I told my husband that I didn't want much tea as I had a late lunch. Even naughtier!

KatyK Wed 21-May-14 16:13:51

Marzipan - especially chocolate covered marzipan smile

Ana Wed 21-May-14 15:57:29

Bit of a contradiction there, Lona! grin

Cashew nuts, plain, not roasted or salted, I love `em! Also Cathedral City Baked Bites, Mmmmmm!!

Lona Wed 21-May-14 15:54:38

Does the 'frig count as a cupboard? My passion of the moment is for Waitrose Essential choc ices. They are just enough, I can't leave them alone will I ever be thin again?, and they are only £1 for eight!

grin

Chocolate spread ugh ! peanut butter should only be eaten on toast smile I have had a jar for a few weeks now as I have to 'fancy it'

Wine gums however are a different matter. There's a law that says they have to be eaten in one go.......isn't there ??

Joelise Wed 21-May-14 13:38:11

Had a huge jar of Nutella which I bought in France. I looked at it longingly for months, then gave it to DD for DGS, felt very pious as I love it. Now looking slaveringly at a tin of caramel, left over when I made banoffee pie!!!

rosesarered Wed 21-May-14 13:36:31

Soutra you sound like the very hungry caterpillar.grin

rosesarered Wed 21-May-14 13:34:49

Oh and cherry cake.

rosesarered Wed 21-May-14 13:34:29

absolute, that should read.

rosesarered Wed 21-May-14 13:33:50

Only Maltesers, my absloute downfall.

tiggypiro Wed 21-May-14 13:28:15

I would never have peanut butter in the house. It is the only thing which makes me physically sick. I cannot even wash the jar out.
The things I dare not give house room to are any form of cakes or chocolate. I have to finish them even if I have already had too much. I am an absolute pig !

Ana Wed 21-May-14 13:13:40

Cheeselets.
