I always wanted to appear on Room 100 with my list of annoyances. but here are a few: poor grammar, especially in the use of the ubiquitous apostrophe. Very loud personal conversations on a mobile phone whilst seated on a train or bus. People eating large amounts of food whilst walking along the street.
Finally, for now, rudeness in all its form.

Another thing that pushes my buttons is.
'You definitely qualify for a free boiler/ insulation/ cavity wall insulation etc"
2-3 times a day!
I have a new boiler.
My loft is completely insulated
My walls are solid stone!

And that phone call prefaced by "I am calling to let you know of a new initiative . . ." as though they are officials kindly telling you of a government scheme to help you out, instead of salesmen wanting you to take out a contract for them to supply you with said new boiler etc.

People who spit.

People who just walk straight at you in town when you are pushing a pram and expect you too move out of the way

Oh yes you are all reminding me of more and more things. People who say 'I'm good thanks' when you offer them a cup of tea or something. I feel like saying I didn't ask you whether you were good, bad or indifferent, I asked if you would like a drink.

People who park on the pavement thereby not allowing pushchairs or wheelchairs to pass safely!

I agree with most of all of the above - except Sue's bum - but especially non clinical managers.

Yes, all of the above but especialy people who are negative about everything and everyone.

Cold callers who, having interrupted me at a most inconvenient moment, then talk to me as if they're my best friend: Hello MamaCaz - how are you today? Are you having a nice day, blah blah blah!!!

It's happened twice already today. Grrr

If I'm pushing the buggy I want to ram them. I did once make a man lift up the buggy and carry it across the very small gap he'd left between the cars for sale and his car!
There was no way I was going to walk on the busy main road with a toddler in a buggy.

Lycra-clad posers cycling enthusiasts who ride on the road (frequently two-abreast) when the council has provided a very nice and expensive cycle track.

Shop assistants who say ' you alright there'. I respond 'Yes I fine thank you how are you? The I wait until they ask a more appropriate question about serving me.

I also dislike intensely being called ' you guys'. My husband is sick of me saying 'I'm not a guy I'm a girl, this is what we look like'.

Cruelty of any and every kind upsets me. This includes cruelty to animals, kids, anyone. It also includes racism, homophobia, and sexism, because these attitudes are cruel.

More minor annoyances are noisy fellow passengers on the suburban train, smugness and stupidity.

And general annoyances are extremist lying dishonest politicians imposing horrible harmful policies on us and pretending they are necessary. (Anyone in Australia right now would understand this one)

I just love so many of these and have been sitting here saying:"Yes!Yes!Yes!"
I cannot bear overuse of 'absolutely' or 'at the end of the day' and often wonder what people being interviewed used to say before the phrase 'open and transparent.' Why has it also become common to answer the question: "How are you?" with the response: "Good."
One of my pet hates when driving is when someone pulls out suddenly from a side turning when it is not necessary or appropriate and then proceeds to drive below the speed limit. When it is safe for me to overtake, he/she suddenly decides to increase speed! Grrr!

People who produce link after link to try and reinforce a remark. One can be helpful, after that you've made your point, I don't need further information thanks. People who refuse to consider a different view point to their own. Adult cyclists on a pavement - if you don't feel confident enough to cycle on the road then you shouldn't be out at all. DH because he was chosen for Jury Service and doesn't want to do it whereas I would love to. Having it implied that my voting preference was responsible for various misfortunes.

How about 'iconic' everything is bloody iconic these days or 'spot on' makes me rage - again!!!

The problem is human nature.

When, as a collective group, not any individual I assure you, mentions smugness, bigots, know it all's, big heads etc. etc. This will apply to us 'all' because we all have the same view of another person and they in turn will be thinking of you. That's why they say never talk about politics or religion.
