Good Morning Everyone,
Its another wet morning here in Brackley , traffic chaos locally A43 to M40 Jc10 being resurfaced so many face a 20 mile diversion.

Good morning from a damp, fresh, green place.

'Morning All! We had gales yesterday and rain in the night but today the sun is out and the wind has moderated to a breeze, thankfully. Keeping everything crossed for the right results Liverpool FC today.

Morning all!

Wet and windy here in North Leicestershire this morning and we had quite a lot of rain overnight.

I have mountains of ironing to do today and then I'm going to see Mum. One of my brothers went yesterday and said she seemed a little better.

Enjoy your days everyone smile

Good morning everyone. It's sunny and bright here on the North East coast (well for the time being it is anyway) I can see the sea today which is a good sign.

Stuff the ironing kittylester I could think of a thousand better things to do. it will still be there tomorrow, and the next day and the next day and........smile

Wet again! It seems that every time I set foot outside my door the heavens open.
I suspect there is s vengeful cloud above my house waiting for someone to step outside. The ground has reached squelching point.
It's stopped again now, It knows I am not going out for a while.

Good morning! (Is that an oxymoron?) hmm
I hate this weather in spring. Just when everywhere has blossom and new greenery and spring flowers, this flippin' rain and wind always seems to come to spoil it all.
Have a good (indoor) day everyone sunshine

Good morning! Blustery here in Devon; drove to a meeting at Buckfastleigh yesterday and the weather seemed to change every few minutes.

Off to the Yacht Club for lunch with DSiL and family, for yet another celebration of Theseus' 70th birthday, which seems to be going on for the whole month! Impossible to get everyone in the same place at any one time, but it's nice to have lots of parties.

kittylester Sun 11-May-14 09:35:10

Thing is Gilly I can't stuff any more ironing in the cupboard! grin

I have just looked at the Bing weather forecast on my computer. In vain hope of a bright spell.

For today the pictures of raindrops vary from small rounds drops to stair rods.

It doesn't look any better at DGS's tomorrow either. By the time we get there it will be raining and we will probably be taking it across with us.

Good morning everyone. It's a lovely sunny day here in Malta and it is also Mother's Day.

I'm in bed with a stinking cold and sore throat, feeling absolutely yuck, so unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy the sunshine. sad

Hope you all have a good day whatever you are doing sunshine

gillybob Sun 11-May-14 10:21:30

Put your back into it Kittylester you are just not shoving hard enough. grin

Still sunny and bright here.... Said in a whisper just incase I jinx it.

PRINTMISS Sun 11-May-14 10:27:46

Good morning all, bright but blustery here on the south coast, I think the wind is keeping the rain at bay (wishful thinking!) Hope your Mum is o.k. Kitty, and like you I have a pile of ironing to do, but think it might well wait a little while longer while I have a go at the crossword - a favourite Sunday morning occupation. Enjoy your days.

The rain doesn't come to spoil it - it comes to water it.....but it has to water the weeds too
